A legacy of love, encouragement, and showing up.
Some people come into your life and become so woven into your family’s story that the word friend simply isn’t enough. Kimberly Stritt was one of those people. She was family.

Kim was the mother of our daughter-in-law, Devin, who is married to our son, Corey, but our families were connected long before they were married. When Ally became critically ill in 2009, Kim was one of the first people to step forward.
For the next 15 years, through transplants, hospital stays, fundraisers, celebrations, setbacks, and everything in between, Kim showed up. She helped organize support, rallied people around our family, and was a constant presence throughout Ally’s journey.
But some of the most meaningful things Kim did were the things most people never saw.
Behind the fundraisers and events were the private messages she sent to Ally. Words of encouragement during difficult days. Hope when Ally was waiting for a transplant. Reminders that she was loved and that she was never alone.
Kim had an extraordinary ability to encourage others, even while walking through tremendous pain and challenges of her own. She was a bright light. She inspired people. She loved deeply. And she showed up. After facing cancer with incredible strength and courage, Kim went to heaven on January 14, 2026.
Kim’s relationship with Ally meant more to us than we could ever fully put into words. Losing them both has left an absence that is deeply felt, but the love, encouragement, and hope they gave to others continues.
The Kimberly Stritt Legacy Fund was created to honor Kim by carrying that spirit forward.
If you would like to make a donation to the ACJ Foundation in Kim’s memory, every penny donated through the Kimberly Stritt Legacy Fund will go directly to families facing medical crises and the financial hardships that so often come with them. In this way, Kim can continue doing what she did so beautifully throughout her life: showing up for families when they need it most.
Her light mattered. Her encouragement mattered. And her legacy will continue to matter.
With love,
The Jenkins Family
